I haven’t posted anything in a while, but noticed post of me answering randomly generated questions from a website receives the most views. So, here is part 3.
How many chances do you give a person before you write them off?
It depends on what someone does. If it’s something beyond redemption, there are no second chances. If someone constantly lies, they’ll get cut off. If someone cancels plans that I didn’t want to stick with anyway, I’ll give them other chances because I benefited from them cancelling. It truly depends.
Do you enjoy people watching?
YES! I went to a concert about a month ago and it was more entertaining to watch people dancing, smiling, and laughing. In my line of work, I watch a lot of content displaying the stupidity, cruelty, and much more of mankind. It’s nice to see people genuinely happy. You also learn a lot by watching how people carry themselves. I’m a firm believer everyone should take time to sit down alone and observe people.
What do you remember most about your first crush?
Honestly, how manly he was. He was physically amazing. We met in high school through a mutual friend. He was a wrestler. I didn’t care about wrestling. I only liked watching him get physical *chuckling.* Judge me, but he was fine. We were in a relationship for a while, but life happened. He’s still good to look at to this day. We still talk to this day.
What is the assumption that people make about you that’s totally wrong?
People think I’m a lesbian. Possibly due to me not being a girly girl and presenting more as a tomboy. No idea. I’m not as tomboyish as I used to be, but the assumption I’m a lesbian is an ongoing thing.
What do you try to do to make the world a little better?
Not be an asshole. You’d think this would be easy for others to do, but obviously not.
If you could change the color of one thing, what would it be and why?
I’d change the color of the sky to a fiery reddish orange to match the state of the world… or is that just my mindset? The line is blurred.
What is something that you absolutely will not put up with?
I will not put up with people draining my energy or making me feel miserable. If I feel a sense of relief when you leave my space, you should never enter my space again. I had to learn to listen to my energy. It’s troubling how thick the air can feel when someone is around in comparison to when they leave. This goes for friendships and relationships.
What do you find you recently spend a lot of time wondering about?
What I’ve done with my life and how much more I want to do. The older I get, I think about my accomplishments, failures, what I’ve learned, and what needs to be done. I also think about what I could have done or where I could have been if I didn’t waste time on certain people that are no longer in my life, but I always catch myself to no dwell on the past.
What does nobody want to talk about, but really should?
Religion. This one word and questioning it triggers a lot of people. Other than that, sex. The sex conversation is very one-sided. This goes with sexualization, self-sexualization, objectification, and self-objectification and their hypocrisies.
What are the top three qualities you admire in others?
Communication, active ambition, and empathy. I say active ambition because there’s a difference between verbal ambition and actively pursing what you say you’re going to do.
If you could choose to be famous for something, what would it be?
I’d be famous for creating a vaccine to cure all diseases, but quite sure the government wouldn’t allow me to do that, so I’d be a world famous sci-fi author.
Would you feel comfortable showing me the photos on your phone?
Yes, but would you feel comfortable looking at the photos on my phone?
Always great to know more about the blogger on the other end of the screen. That part about thinking more about what you’ve done with life as you grow older is a constant theme in my life too. Maybe it’s a universal thing. The less time we have, the more urgency we grow, lol. Anyway, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for reading and commenting! Maybe it is universal. Hopefully you too take lessons from the past and continue to grow. 🙂
